Inside near every tiny bit of Caveman body sit a coiled-up thread — the DNA. Shape like a twisted rope ladder. Each rung made from one of four small pieces; Caveman call them A, T, C, G. In one Caveman cell the ladder run about three billion rungs long. One small chunk of instruction called a gene. When a cell split in two, it unzip the ladder and copy each half, so new cell get the full recipe. And half from mother, half from father, make a new child.
