What is DNA?

???

You ask: What is DNA?

Inside near every tiny bit of Caveman body sit a coiled-up thread — the DNA. Shape like a twisted rope ladder. Each rung made from one of four small pieces; Caveman call them A, T, C, G. In one Caveman cell the ladder run about three billion rungs long. The ORDER of these pieces spell out instructions, like marks scratched in a row telling how to build every part of Caveman — how to make the tiny workers (proteins) that do all the body jobs. One small chunk of instruction called a gene. When a cell split in two, it unzip the ladder and copy each half, so new cell get the full recipe. And half from mother, half from father, make a new child. Cave wisdom: DNA the recipe scroll for building Caveman — four little marks, written in long long order, copied and passed down tribe to tribe.
