If team look weak, hunters sell fast — price fall. So price is tribe's best guess about future meat. Owner of share get slice of profit, called dividend, or sell piece later for more shells. Over many many winters, all pieces together grow about ten shells in every hundred each winter — but some winters they fall hard. Cave wisdom: stock market not sell mammoth.
